A CRO must be consulted if a process of financial restructuring needs to be implemented quickly and consisitently with the necessary speed and intensity required for an advanced crisis. The main task of the CRO is the implementation and enforcement of a concept. Therefore, expertise about the specific sector is only necessary up to a certain degree. This expertise is usually provided by external advisers while creating the concept. The main CRO requirement is proven management experience and expertise. It has to be determined whether a functional financial or a general management element is more important to the company. |
