Business unit of an international group of companies, € 600 million turnover, 2,400 employees
Project:
Commercial management of a large, complex business unit with 9 production plants and 5 product lines in Europe and Asia. In addition, establishment of a joint venture in Shanghai, restructuring of the business unit and improvement of profitability.
Task:
Development of international management reporting and strategic business area planning to control results. In addition, restructuring of all commercial and technical departments by means of a profit improvement program, implementation of 6-sigma projects to reduce costs, increase cash flow by reducing working capital and optimization of the international production network.
