In-house production of low-margin products

Client:
Turkish location of an international group of companies, €50 million turnover, 300 employees

Project:
In-house production of low-margin products instead of external sourcing from Asia. In addition, construction and commissioning of a new production plant in Antalya and integration of the new site into an international sales network.

Task:
Support from the site search to the selection of the construction company/contractor and the planning of the production layout through to the construction of the building. Subsequently, commissioning of clean room production, set-up and management of shift operation, start-up of production and set-up of logistics.

Results:

• Commissioning of the plant on time and on budget
• Relocation of previously purchased products to the new location due to higher quality and greater readiness to deliver
• Integration into the international sales network
